NEW "HOME PAGE" FOR LIVING WATERS FORUM!

Greetings everyone!

We just wanted to take this opportunity to welcome everyone, regular visitors and newcomers to our board, and announce our new "Home Page" for the LWF Discussion Board.

On our new "Home Page," we have a number of new features that we feel will be quite helpful to you.

First of all, you will notice the beginning or first few paragraphs of the "Welcome Message" is now shown on this page. This will be helpful to new ones visiting us, giving them the overall purpose for the website.

Also, in the upper right-hand corner, you will notice the new "Home Page" shows the 10 most "recent" posts, rotating. And of course, when you move your mouse over the rotating topics, the movement stops allowing you to choose any topic you wish to visit first.

Then, the new "Home Page" shows a new Daily "Page Hit" counter, which shows the total amount of page "views" we receive each day to our website. This unique "counter" also shows, yesterday's totals, as well as last week's totals, on the same day. This new feature, should reveal any increased activity received on our website, progressively as the days go by. Thus, the design of this particular "counter" purposely shows the TOTAL AMOUNT of traffic we receive on a "daily" basis, as well as allowing for a week-by-week comparison of such activity.

Of course, we want to remember that this particular type of counter is quite different from the counter shown on the Front Page of our website, the one with the moving water picture. That particular "counter" shows the total amount of UNIQUE "visitors" on an accumulative basis, to our website.

Then too, we want to mention that our new "Home Page" has a census taker, or poll-taker for LWF members only. This feature allows us to periodically pose poignant, meaningful questions, to gather a general perspectus on various pressing issues affecting Jehovah's Witnesses today, from those who are "regulars" on our discussion board.

In addition, you will notice, that on the new "Home Page," now you can also "log-on" from that page. Also, if you forget your password, a special feature is available to assist to recovery it for you. Another feature would be, if you wish to use our unique "search" feature in scanning the board for certain key words mentioned in articles, this is available on the new "home page." Also, you can access the "membership" list from the "Home Page" now, as well as a variety of other functions available to all who visit us.

And finally, The "Report" book itself, is shown on the new "Home Page" so that anyone who wishes can get the details on how to obtain this timely publication.
